GROOVER PIPE SUPPORT STAND
Pipe support stand is a designed element that transfer the load from a pipe to the supporting structures. The load includes the weight of the pipe proper, the content that the pipe carries, all the pipe fittings attached to pipe, and the pipe covering such as insulation. Tuwei designed different pipe support for different pipe tool, even for roll grooving machine, there are many kinds of pipe supports according to different center height and different weight bearing.
PRODUCT APPLICATION
When designed one pipe support, the first thing we need to consider is function and adaptability. Different model of machine has its unique center height, that means the distance of run for the pipe support is different. For example, the distance of run for grooving machine whose capacity is from16inch to 80inch is less than the model which groove pipe size from 1inch to 12inch.
The second thing we need to consider is structure and weight bearing. TUWEI designed pipe support by using universal ball, rubber wheel or bearings, choose which designed is based on the demand. Universal ball provide all direction movement, there is no need for operator to change the pipe ends by human when finish one end grooving. Rubber wheel always used for some stainless steel pipe or plastic-coated pipe, to protect the surface coating. Bearing is one kinds of stable structure for pipe running when grooving. The load-bearing is calculated by the pipe its support.
The third thing we need to consider is appearance design which is called industrial design. Industrial designers typically focus on the physical appearance, functionality and manufacturability of a product, though they are often involved in far more during a development cycle. Industrial designers are commonly part of multidisciplinary teams made up of strategists, engineers, user interface (UI) designers, user experience (UX) designers, project managers, branding experts, graphic designers, customers and manufacturers, all working together towards a common goal. The collaboration of so many different perspectives allows the design team to understand a problem to the fullest extent, then craft a solution that skillfully responds to the unique needs of a user. In the past year, Tuwei tech-department in charge of appearance design, With the progress of consciousness, Tuwei emploies a professional industrial design team to make corresponding industrial design for the following new developed products.

Pipe support stand is very important for pipe tool operation especially when the pipe is long. It is necessary to use pipe support during grooving, cutting and threading. Take roll grooving machine as an example, if the pipe is 12M legnth, 2 sets pipe supports are needed, otherwise will make not good grooving effect because the center of pipe will sink. If the pipe length is 6M, pipe support should be placed on the 3/4 pipe length and 1 degree lower than horizontal level, to avoid pipe runs forward. If pipe runs, adjust pipe support left or right can solev it.
