18"-60" ROLL GROOVING MACHINE (TWG-8A)
TWG-8A is one roll grooving machine which designed for grooving 18inch to 60inch seamless steel pipe, galvanized steel pipe and lining plastic steel pipe. It is an ideal equipment for construction, especially for pipe with big size.

PRODUCT OPERATION
1. All the parameters of this machine had been set before packing and delivery. But workers should check everything before grooving.
2. Check the Upper roller and Down roller
There is size marker on every roller, workers should check and choose the corresponding upper roller and down roller. If the upper roller and down roller is not incorrect, need to be replaced. For upper roller pull out the upper roller shaft, replace the correct one then fixed with upper roller shaft. For down roller, release the fasten screw of down roller. Take off the Down roller washer. Take the Down roller out of main shaft and replace with correct one.
3. Adjustment of Guide wheel
The main function of the Guide wheel is to make the pipe turn stable during grooving. Turning the Guide wheel handle to make Guide wheel touch the pipe surface after starting, make the lock nut on Guide-wheel frame tighter then. It should adjust again when different pipes are processed. Pay attention that do not make the pipe deflect form the center of main shaft, otherwise, pipe flare will become bigger.
4. Adjustment of groove depth
4.1 Check whether the sample as same wall-thickness as the pipe to be processed or not.
4.2 Put the pipe on the Down roller.
4.3 Start machine and step on the foot switch, Upper roller goes down, push the button “Emergency stop “ as soon as the Upper roller touches the surface of pipe.
4.4 Turn the adjusting nut of depth-adjuster clockwise until touch the top of cylinder.
4.5 Turn the limit nut of depth-adjuster clockwise until touch the adjusting nut.
4.6 Afterwards turn the limit nut anticlockwise, until it reached depth needed. This depth is showed on the depth-adjuster. Hold the limit nut, turn adjusting nut anticlockwise until touch the limit nut and locked, Then get the rough groove depth.
5. Using the Pipe-supporter
5.1 Confirm that the machine is in statue of horizontal and fixed.
5.2 There are two pipe supporters with machine, front supporter ( Assister) should be placed 1 mater in front of the machine and the back supporter ( Main supporter) should be placed on the 3/4 length of the pipe which to be processed.
This is a big and heavy grooving machine, workers must be familiar with operation manual before using it.
