8"-20" PIPE CUTTER(TWQ-8A)
TWQ-8A is a pipe cutter for cutting 8inch to 20inch steel pipe. The Max. diameter allowed for pipes to be cut is 219mm, and the Min. diameter allowed for pipes to be cut is 530mm. the Max. wall thickness allowed for pipes to be cut is 12mm.
PRODUCT OPERATION
1. Check whether the rated voltage and frequency of the machine coinciding with the power supply, otherwise the motor will burn or break down. customers provide local voltage, local frequency and plug style when placing the order, TUWEI will produce pipe cutting machine according to the customers demand. Clear path to electrical outlet that does not contain any potential sources of damage for the power cord. Earthing and fuse are required in the electric system. this is for reducing the risk of electrical shock or serious personal injury.
2. Check work area. Adequate lighting. Flammable liquids, vapors or dust that may ignite. If
present, do not work in area until sources have been identified and corrected. Use a clear, level, stable, dry place for operator. Do not use the machine while standing in water.
3. Let the machine run without loading to check whether it’s normal. If there is some harsh sound from machine or motor, stop using, call Tuwei or distributors.
4. Place the steel pipe on the roller of pipe stand and machine supporting roller holder. If cut pipes with diameters from 325mm to 426mm, the supporting roller holder shall be turned outward and the pipe shall be placed on the two long rollers under it. Rotate the pipe with a hand to check whether it runs or not. If it runs, move the pipe stand left or right.
5. At the beginning of operation, tighten the relief valve and press the arm to the pipe, then shake the handle of oil pump to allow the blade approaches the pipe to form the initial trail. Turn on the switch to let machine start, shake the handle of oil pump slowly. Shake the handle of oil pump after the steel pipe rotates at least one or two cycle.
6. When the pipe is going to be cut off, stop shaking the handle and let the blade rotate for several cycles by itself. Then pipe will be cut. Then turn off the switch to let the machine be stopped.
7. After the pipe has been cut off, open the relief valve to let the cutting blade return to its original high position. Then check the cut whether it is ok or not.
8. For the replacement of cutting blade, loosen 4pcs M8 screws followed by removing the old blade and replacing with new one. Finally tighten the 4pcs M8 screws. Never loosen the round nut.
9. Some tips. Do not wear gloves or loose clothing. Keep sleeves and jackets buttoned. Clothing can be caught in
rotating rollers or tools and cause crushing injuries. Keep fingers and hands away from rotating rollers, this reduces the risk of entanglement and cutting injuries. Use properly pipe stand to support long lengths of pipe. If the pipe length is over 6M, it is better to use two sets pipe stands. This reduces the risk of tipping or falling pipe.
